英語演講稿 My invention for the Olympic Games(我為奧運(yùn)做發(fā)明)

I am Songyu and my English name is KELLY. I am 9 years old. It is my great hornor to take part in today’s speech competition. My topic is "My small inventions for the Olympic Games”

August 8, 2008 is an exciting day, because “the bird nest” will welcome the people from all over the world in Beijing. Certainly, in such great event, there may be something not satisfied. For example, two people from different countries can not understand each other. Some may throw rubbish here and there after watching games. With excitement, some even spill soft drink on the ground as a result of carelessness. Therefore, I have two small inventions.

One is called “Language Interpreter”, which is as the same size as a cellphone. But it can translate what you want in 5 to 10 seconds. By using it, firstly you need input your country’s name, then the other country’s name. So that it can help you speak any language you want.

Another one is called “cleaning dog”, actually it is a machine. The machine dog is like an animal dog. It can use its ‘‘nose” to seek for their “food”----the rubbish. The rubbish will turn into the energy after they eat them. What an amazing invention.

Here are my two inventions for the Olympic Games. How do you think?
